- I'm the award--winning author of "The Mayor's Wife Wore Sapphires," an urban political thriller. I was really a mayor's wife who had a great and bad time at it. A lot of it is in my novel.
I'm a publisher, and the owner of Urban Classic Books. I have four grown children, and I write every day. I'm a Christian, who loves to run on the beach and read excerpts of my novel to whoever will listen.

Just wanted to say hello. I'm out of your targeted age group, but that's Ok too. I got something I think you need. I'm one of the hundreds of mothers who give advice to Barack and Michelle Obama, like they need another piece of advice, huh.

I am an author too. My first book, a children's book, is coming out in Spring 2009. But I am always interested in knowing about black-owned publishing houses, because I will have two more children's books coming out in 2010. I'll look up your publishing house.
