Hear me out on this first.
If you're anything like me, the first time you saw a copy of Essence, you were probably in awe. Your jaw might have dropped or you were mesmerized thinking "There's actually a magazine by, for, and about women like me." Then, you got hooked.
The first time i saw a copy of Essence, I was a kid. Robin Givens was on the cover and I always loved Robin Givens because she's a walking doll. I've been hooked ever since.
But why has it been so bland and blah over the years.…

I love the Regenerist. I use lotion constantly on my hands and arms, and use something from the Cosmetique collection. I forget the name, but I'll check my makeup bag and get back to you. Lol. If you use only these products,as long as you don't have sensitive skin that can't take most of the products out there, you should be fine. Just watch how much time you spend in the sun from here on out,if you do spend time in the sun now. I was a beach bum, since I grew up only about 13 miles from Huntington Beach,in California.
Surf City USA,all the way. I have caught the eye of Usher, who in 1999,while I was working as a Ride Operator at Knott's Berry Farm,at the Supreme Scream. He loves or,at the time, loved that ride, and I was working one tower and he was on the one next to mine, and I noticed him but couldn't place him, until my co-worker whispered to me who he was. Usher was completely floored when my co-worker told him I was into his music. But only after my friend told him I had a daughter who had just graduated high school. Usher asked me how old I was,and then said,Oh,I'm sorry, that is so rude to ask a woman her age,but I really can't tell and you don't look like you've got a grown daughter. I laughed, thanked him,and told him I was 41. His jaw dropped, and I laughed again. And told him I loved his music. He couldn't believe that someone my age was into his music. And that really excited him. He told me,
You are gorgeous for being your age.Lol. That was so great. I was elated for the rest of the night. I also caught the eye of Paul Walker in the city he lives in,while driving my red,2004,4th Anniversary Edition,Mustang. He flirted with me big time. This was in 07. Wow, that really made my day.Lol. I felt like Diane Lane,in "Under the Tuscan Sun" after she comes home after spending a day or two with that gorgeous Italian,Marcello, when she's in only her black lace full slip, and starts chanting,"Yah,I still got it". lol. But thank you so much again. That really makes me feel great. Have a great Wednesday,Cynthia
