About Me: I'm Valerie (the Val in Valana) and I love anything artistic which is part of the reason that I created my company. I also love to study culture and travel so I've combined these things to create Valana Minerals. For most of my adult life I had trouble finding color cosmetics that worked with my skin tone and natural cosmetics were not available to me. In my travels I've found that people of color all over had the same problem with makeup. I started making my own cosmetics and I was so happy with the result I decided to start my own all natural mineral makeup line specifically formulated for women of color.

Put An End to Hair Torture

A few days ago I saw a video that I honestly found disturbing. A weird combination that requires me to spend a lot of time finding the right foundation (use tinted moisturizer now and Chanel liquid).
