- I am the founder and director of The National Black Women’s Network (NBWN) which is a non-profit network organisation dedicated to raising the status and position of BAME women in all walks of life. The NBWN provides dynamic initiatives through network support; enabling women from diverse backgrounds and occupations to develop strong professional and social contacts; high quality training and education programmes; leadership and national recognition. The NBWN has held a number of very successful meetings under the “Let’s Talk Business” banner since 2002, which has provided women an opportunity to discuss a diverse range of issues on how to successfully run and manage their business with industry experts, specialists and government ministers.
“Let’s Talk Business” is a highly successful networking forum for business women who want to grow their business, leverage their skills and form strong connections with other female entrepreneurs.

I have broad experience in business communication and project management as well as developing the business case of more innovative and forward thinking programmes for organisational transformation in diversity issues and currently sits on the Ministry of Defense’s Diversity Champions Panel. As well as working across all Parties to increase BAME representation and participation in public life and enterprise.
I hold a MA in Marketing Communications, BA in Business Communications and currently undertaking my PhD. I write the weekly business page for the New Nation Newspaper and a regular contributor for features in magazines, radio shows and speaking engagements around women in business.
