I tell people all the time just do one deal. I say that but I know once they do one deal they'll keep doing them. When you can make $15,000, $30,000, $50,000 and more in one transaction why would you stop.

Donald Trump’s advisor, George Ross, presents award at the National Real Estate Investors Conference in Baltimore
BALTIMORE, MD - October 12th, 2006. Following an intensive national competition, Sandra Pearsall of Baltimore, MD was named ‘Real Estate Investor Of The Year’ at the 2006 National Real Estate Investors Conference in Baltimore, Maryland.
Pearsall, 35, beat out nine other finalists from across the country to win the prestigious award which was voted for by conference participants during the four day conference. Pearsall left school at age 17 without graduating from high school, but achieved ‘financial freedom’ after only four years of real estate investing; “I was tired of working dead end jobs, and wanted to make something of my life. I started to read up on real estate investing, made my first deal, and never looked back. I now own over $1million worth of real estate”.
George Ross, legal advisor to Donald Trump, presented the award to Pearsall after a gruelling ‘Apprentice’ style finale to the competition. Ross was impressed with the calibre of finalists, “ They all did remarkably well, but Pearsall impressed the judging panel with her ability to negotiate profitable deals at every turn.”
The National Real Estate Investors Conference, which was held this year at the BWI Airport Marriott Hotel, October 4-7th is the brainchild of local real estate investor and business owner, Sherman Ragland. The conference is an annual event sponsored by Ragland’s company, Real Investors, and is considered by local real estate enthusiasts to be the East Coast’s premiere gathering of top real estate experts eager to share their knowledge in many facets of investing such as short sales, foreclosures, wholesaling, asset protection and much more. According to Ragland, “I was overwhelmed by the numbers of people who are hungry for some real estate education, which they got at the conference, Sandra is a prime example of what you can achieve with the right knowledge, the sky’s the limit.”
In addition to the honor of being named the top investor in the country, Pearsall won a 1 week stay at the Ritz-Carlton Residences in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands.
