- Hello My name is Saleemah Cartwright and I am the owner / founder of Healthy Hair Journey Enterprises L.L.C. and the Hydratherma Naturals healthy hair care product collection available at www.HealthyHairJourney.com.
I am a lover of healthy hair care, RN and Cosmetologist. I must say, my love for hair goes beyond words could express. Anyone who knows me is well acquainted with the fact that I absolutely love hair (and that includes anything that has to do with hair)...lol. I was a small child when my love affair with hair began and the fire is still burning. After so many years of being frustrated with my hair I finally learned to work with my hair and not against it! My desire is to educate other women of color on better ways to take care of our hair so that it can be in its most healthiest state!

Please by all means, start with a nice, fresh trim. If your hair ends are severely damaged and thin, they should go. Cut off those thin, damaged and brittle ends. Don't worry, your hair will be thick and beautiful before you know it. Broken ends which are severely damaged and thin cannot be made healthy again no matter what product you use or how much you condition your hair.Your trim doesn't have to be as drastic as my haircut was.
