Hello how you doing? My name is Khalilah Jordan and I just self published my first book "Loyal To The Game" Check it out its hot. It's an urban street book about Shytayjah Johnson AKA Tayjah who is from the streets of New York. She is known for being beautiful and having a glamorous life until suddenly her life takes a twist. She falls in love with a big-time drug dealer named Jason from Harlem, who is known for being a killer. But when he is put in a coma and his right-hand man, Rob, is put in a grave, everyone becomes a target—including Tayjah. When Tayjah’s little sister, Neka, gets killed and her mother becomes a crackhead, Tayjah and her brother, Shytek, takes the streets in their own hands, leaving the streets of New York with shootouts and dead bodies. They will do any and every thing to find the person who murdered their sister. Their hunt is put on hold when both of them get arrested for murder because someone close to them is snitching on them. Betrayal, jealousy, greed, envy, love, and drama are knocking on the door. Who will keep the oath they made to the streets by staying loyal? Who will fall? Makes you want to read some more? If so you can check my book out at www.Xlibris.com, www.BN.com, www.Borders.com and www.Amazon.com. Also check my website out at www.khalilahjordan.org Make sure you tell a friend. First off, thanks for your comment. And as for homeschooling, I don't claim to be an expert at it, but I have been doing this for six years now. I see it as a necessity because the public school system has failed our children for decades. We live in an area where the school system doesn't seem to really care if our children learn. We have even tutored other kids in the neighborhood that can't seem to get it in public school. I especially see young black children as victims which is why we formed The Black Homeschoolers Association. We will be producing a series of DVD lessons as well as some childrens publications to assist those wishing to home school. We have lot's of free resources on our website for those new to this. We will be updating the site often so if you don't see what you are looking for please feel free to contact me. If you need more insight than what the website can offer, please feel free to call me at: 270-472-0677. At this point I think black children need to be emancipated from public education. I talk to my family and friends about it so much that my oldest sister started home schooling her daughter shortly after we had our first conversation about it years ago. My younger sister who lives in St. Louis wants to send her oldest son to us to be home schooled which I found that to be an honor for her to ask. Again, if you want more info please call us we don't mind sharing information and resources.
