I can certainly offer some suggestions if you'd like. You first have to decide if you want this as a hobby or a business. You want to get exposure and become an expert in your niche. You can do this through article marketing, social bookmarking, affiliate marketing, and even press releases.

It's not something that will happen overnight, but once you build some online credibility, you can create income if you so desire.

I am in the process of setting up a writing/bookmarking service to make it easy for new entrepreneurs to get started without the high rates that you typically see online. For most of us, it's not possible dish out tons of money for something that may not produce results.

The key is to get noticed. You want your site to come up when people are searching your niche. If you're interested in learning more about my services or you just need some advice, I'm here to help.

With a well thought out marketing plan, you can rise to the top quickly. Let's say you take one article about your work, you distribute it to 20 article directories and 40 social bookmarking sites, that's 60 links back to your site. If you multiple that by say 5 articles or 10 - you do the math. You can also incorporate videos into your marketing plan as it is now easier than ever to create a video. Every link is a chance for someone to see your work. The more the better...
