- I'm a married mom of two, and am pretty much a homebody. When the day's work is done I like to sit in my room and get on the computer, watch tv, or listen to music. I especially like to read if there's a good book out I haven't read. I'm working on some writing projects, since writing is my passion. I'm a simple person who enjoys the simple things in life.

I'm doing ok... just taking each day minute-by-minute. We are in the process of moving, so that is occupying most of my time and my mind. I have also gone back to work. My husband and I are trying to make things as "normal" as possible for our other children. They have started counseling, and we are soon to follow.

I saw your post tonight... I don't know if you write fiction, but what helps me is to keep tabs on my daily word count. Although, sometimes I don't reach my daily goal ... it helps to know that each day I've added something or in some cases-through editing- taken something out to reach the final product.
What also helps me is to refer back to the story outline or to simply make a mental list of all the characters in the story. Focusing on a minor character could be just the spark you need to move the work forward.
Last put not least, I read. Seeing another writer's finished product motivates me to finish my work. Especially something of a different genre. That way when I return to my work I can maintain my unique voice.
