What does being well mean to everyone? Is it possible to be physically healthy and mentally, spiritually and emotionally not well? I deal with people everyday who are physically fit...and they are (as it appears) in good health, but upon deeper probing I find that they are not well in many other areas of their lives. Wellness is not just the absence of sickness and disease but it is much more...lets talk about it. because people need to know more about the holistic balance involved in true wellness.

Emotional Intelligence - Being aware of your emotions and how you manage them while simultaneously being aware of other people's emotions and how they react to you.

Although all of us may work in different fields and interact with people in different ways emotional intelligence is important because one bad event in your day can affect you for up to three hours. And if you aren't completely aware of your own emotions and how you react to different situations, your attitude and behavior can affect the people you interact with. Be aware of who you are emotionally because it takes a toll on you physically and we all feed off of eachother. Remember to pray, eat healthy, read your bible, serve your community, and take time for yourself...
