I am very glad You All had a great time. And hopefully You All will bring Ur friends next time. Its been a great event and I think it will always be a great event. I did not have to catch a plane r drive and I am tired too lol. So Thank All Of You For Attending. Yours Truly Nathan

Tired doesn't even begin to express what I'm feeling right now. I've been going to Essence since I was a teenager, but don't remember being THIS TIRED. Essence did a wonderful job of keeping us BUSY. I especially like all the black-owned/operated businesses they bring into the city for the weekend (Rx for Brown Skin, Carol's Daughter). It also helped that they let Lamman Rucker do a picture and autograph signing....LAWD HAVE MERCY...THAT MAN!!! LOL. I had an Essence Fest "newbie" with me and she LOVED EVERYTHING. My only concerns were not getting the schedule of the events at my hotel....I did end up getting one, but I missed not having it at check-in. Also, how about some shuttles or something to and from the Convention Center and the Dome? Ya'll that walk is a BEAST. especially in 100 degree heat. Also, I think Essence should do complete package trips....airfare, hotel, concert tickets, all in one package. And did anybody else fly Southwest??? If so, just thank God you got home.....LOL. The lines at the airport were like 2 hours LONG.....Anyway, counting down til next year!!!!

I'm exhausted!!! this was my 10th straight year going & Loved every minute, everyday. Love seeing the sea of beautiful people in the SuperDome.

To AW; you must have used the restrooms on the 1st level. I learned a LONG time ago to go to the upper levels(300's-500's) restrooms. Never a line & always clean.
I couldn't possibly make to a seminar, after getting back into my room until 5:30am.
Couldn't even hold my head up any longer waiting on Maxwell. We noticed Charlie Wilson stalling(singing the same song twice!!).
Rumor had it that Maxwell was late because he was performing at another location.

I loved the seminars. The one with Ed Gordon and moderated by Solidad O'Brian was FANTASTIC same for the Bill Cosby seminar. i went to Saturday's concert and over all it was very good.

I attended the first Essence Festival and this is the first time I have been back. I must admit it was very hard being in the Superdome knowing so many people died there. The one only real negative is the deplorable condition of the restrooms. They were HORRIBLE I dont remember it being so nasty. but let me end on a positive note. The event was great

I don't know bout ya'll but I have never been to a concert that ended at 3 am!! OMG Maxwell was so good even though it took an hour for him to come on stage it was well worth the wait! I lovvvvvveeeeeee me some Maxwell!

Hey guys I'm having a ball..On thursday I went to h.o.b. and saw joe and chico..and ur girl because part of their entourage kicked it with them in the hush club and on their tour bus it was so crazy..girls be safe and have fun
