Yes Bigpoppa, Marriot is very good. Its a nice walk, but so is other hotels too.

I am planning on going again. Did pay for the hotel yet? Do you know who is at the event this year? I am looking to have an even better time this year. Is Marriott a good hotel?

Hi pearl Jr. i agree that the media has been unfair to M.J. and they always will be; however people who have nothing but love for M.J. has said that he had a problem. He was human. Because he was bigger than life to a lot of people, it's hard for them to imagine he could have such a problem. People who become addicted to prescription drugs don't intend to. The problem most times start out because of trying to solve a small problem that can't be handled on one's own; like insomnia. There was a woman on oprah the other day that became addicted to prescription meds after a car accident. Her body healed from her wounds but the cravings for the drug never left. It happens. Don't you think his actual actions were a little extreme for someone whom "simply needed to sleep".

On Michael's Birthday (August 29th), I sent out a massive eblast telling whoever I could that the media continues their slander by spreading the vicious lie that MJ was addicted to narcotics, but the TRUTH is, he simply needed to sleep.

Please note that no narcotic prescription medicine like Xanax, Demerol, and Oxycotin, nor alcohol and no pills were found his stomach. All of that was media lies and quickness to make the King of Pop look like the worst drug addict the world has ever seen.

Just like before, the media owes Mr. Jackson and his family a huge apology!

had such a blast at this year's Essence Festival and I cannot wait to return again next year! This year was my 2nd year going and I think I have finally figured out the right formula for the best possible trip. Next year I'm going to forget about the after parties and just focus on enjoying the concerts. I loved everybody except Maxwell who was too diva to get on stage before 1:30AM. Thousands of people left and most people were pissed at the wait (even though the die-hard fans didn't mind). Frankie Beverly and Maze were absolutely incredible and I really hope that they come back again next year. Nobody can close out Essence better than they can! Essence Fest is THE place to be for the 4th of July!

Despite what you may have heard or read. I'm going to share some helpful tips for you. Contray to what someone may have told you etc.. It is NOT a good idea to get everything in BOTH of your names. Certain accounts like a home yes.. But you must be very careful when planning you finances as a married couple.

Our colleges do not teach us this information. You only find out by making the mistakes after the fact. My mission is to educate you about credit and how it can impact your life. Especially, when it comes to having GOOD CREDIT. If you are young and have not been impacted.. you may want to avoid the following mistakes.. If you have made them. there are ways to attack them and correct them..If you cannot get approved for that house or car, you may want to join my fan club. There are so many tips to avoid and I do not what to overwhelm you with credit Jargon. However, just know that your degree does you no good if you are not prepared for LIFE. You can get a good job and struggle day to day-pay check to paycheck.. even with a college degree.

What do you Avoid?
Avoid creating DEBT together. Do not put everything in your NAME together. This is one of the biggest mistakes couple make. To be honest, I did it at age 18..

The other costly effect of getting everything together is that you could both suffer if the marriage does not work. You both will end up with bad credit, especially if both of you decide not to pay any of your accounts that you got together(while being married).

Make sure you know what your husband/wife may add you too aswell. Know the pros and cons and get in the game of life.. You can survive the game if you know the FACTS.

@Credit Guru - what after-party did you go to that Maxwell attended? Please tell me it wasn't at HUSH because we had tickets, went there and thought Maxwell wasnt going to come. PLEASE say you were somewhere else or I'm gonna kick myself!!!!! Thanks sister!!!
