FOX NEWS CHANNEL (www.foxnews.com) can also be thought of as an "educational
source" because it is classified as "news channel", eventhough they are full of racial
stereotypes and racial comments. Would you as a parent allow your child or children to
watch FOX NEWS CHANNEL (please don't forget the fact that children learn by
example and repeat what they hear whether its on television and/or other adults)? The
racial stereotypes and comments is giving out can be heard through the ears of
children, whether they are at school or home. What if they feel that it is OK to say or
repeat these remarks. Also, what if a student has to do research on a report at the
school library and decides to take a look a FOX NEWS CHANNEL website as one of
the sources (keep in mind that the website is full of streaming videos) and winds up
hearing something from the reporters that inappropriate?
