I'd like to share four decisions that have kept me motivated. 1- I joined a fitness club near my workplace and home, so it's easy to get to and use the treadmill, the cycle or to attend a cardio, yoga, or hip-hop dance class as a part of my day. 2 - I asked for help from a personal trainer to learn about my current fitness status and how to set goals for my body type and lifestyle. The Personal Trainer completed a health risk appraisal, calibrated my Body Mass Index (BMI), assessed my dietary habits, and measured my level of strength, flexibility, and endurance. 3 - Together we developed a fitness and nutritional plan with daily and weekly goals to focus on. I keep an online log so that I know how I am progressing. 4 - I keep it fun by sharing my challenges with my friends at the fitness club. The support and friendly competition to push past my resistance keeps me focused on my overall goals to achieve my personal best. 5- I joined the nike.com online running community - it's global and a great way to log your miles.

To keep shedding weight you have to make sure you are increasing the intensity of your workouts as you go. My fitness book shows you the importance of changing your routine. The same routine you did 2 months ago doesn't burn the same amount of calories now. Keep your body guessing and you will see the results. You can lose a good amount of weight with a good home workout routine

I been trying to lose weight after I had my third and last child, but it just seem too hard. I'm also a stay at home mom and I get tempted by the snacks that's in our house for the kids. Then my cousin called and asked me to be in her wedding and I said yes!! but when I got fitted for the dress I had to get a size 16!! I never seen a size 16 in my life and I knew it was time to lose weight. So what I did was started walking and also getting on the treadmill. So far I lost a total of 20 pounds, but now I see myself going back to my old ways. So now I need to figure out how I could shed another 20 pounds by December 20th that's my birthday and I want to look good:) Help!!!
