Steve Harvey has given the blue print, why won`t women listen?
Steve Harvey wrote his book to help women make better decisions about relationships, I think it was a sincere attempt to better inform women how we think.. Steve did not make up how think and how we operate. My issue is I talk to women about some of the things Steve has said and they still don`t get it, they think just because they think a certain situation should be as they feel it should be, Steve is in error. I have to say; Steve gave a pretty good description of how we think although you might find slight variations. We pretty much stay to the line he laid out. For instance men pretty know what title they want to give you after 6 months thats abolutely true.. Men fish for women some are throw backs and some are keepers, the keepers are usually the ones it was harder to land..Just a lil bit to start the conversation, Fellas help me out.

Everything you said about Steve is right but it does not diminish the fact that he was right about how men think.... If you can can a little bit get our heads and find out what makes us tick don`t you think life could be better for so many women that have been burnt by acting out of their emotions.. Bottom line men have sex with women cause it`s there women have sex because it makes them feel good more than just physically , emotionally and spiritually. Men just wanna blow a load.. Nothing wrong with that it`s just how we were built.

So his instructions are focused on telling women how to engage men to get what they want but then all you are getting is a man who has succesfully passed your test what does the man get but a woman with good test preparation skills.
Harvey is failing to address that the issues in many people relationships have as much to do with who you have the relationship as who you are. Meaning if you as a woman have a lot of personal issues yourself making you unqualified to maintain a relationship what difference does it make learning how to qualify a man for you.
So writing a book that you know provides women (his core audience) with quick and simple fixes to getting a relationships does nothing but sells them dreams. What do they do when they wake up?

You are the only man I have heard who says he is on point with this book. Most men I know trash him. HOWEVER, even though he really didn't tell me anything I didn't already know, I loved the book and agree with him.

I agree with Steve because I have 3 sisters and 1 wife and 5 sisters in laws and most important 2 daughters.. I have spent all my daughters life hipping them to how we think. I told them how men would approach them in pathetic we got nothing going on ways, also I schooled em on cats that would approach in sophisticated professional ways. I let them know that every scoundrel has tell tale signs he`s a scoundrel, don`t let nothing slide everything he says everything he does has a meaning , Be cause we study the right thing to say, we size up women before we approach , Often we study from a distance just like the Lion on the Serengeti. So when he slips and lets out the real him you will begin to know who your dealing with. And the lessons came from the failed relationships of their aunts who were burned so much they should be ashes by now.... All of em got babies with for the most part no daddies. Made my job easy..So when Steves book came out I thought finally something is out there in mass giving women a miniscual picture of how we think..Then I started talking to sisters and they still want to blow past alll the stop signs... You know when you blow thru enough stop signs sooner or later you gonna get smashed...

LOL! That was a bit bitchy, n'est pas? It's because I have four brothers I suppose, but I've always rolled my eyes at these kinds of books. It always comes down to the same thing. All the overanalyzing can just bite me.
"Make a man wait 90 days..." Pulease! A man who really wants sex within 30 days is gonna get that sex within those 30 days whether it's with the woman holding out on him or not. That's the simple truth of the matter, no matter WHAT his so-called "approach" is. "We men can tell who'll put out." Sure, they find out at the same exact moment as the guy who can't tell whether girlfriend will put out before they start putting out.
There is just nothing DEEP about any of this. Men and women are attracted to sex because it feels good TO BOTH OF US. All the rest is chatter, or else would be but for the fact that women are the ones who end up pregnant.
So like Brina pointed out, suddenly that mutual desire for sex is OUR fault and all could have been avoided had we simply acted "like ladies" and understood "how men think" as if there's some moment of genius we missed while you had our earlobes in your mouth.
But nooooooooo, we missed the "signs," you know, which of course, never include those signs communicated through actual touching. Yawn...whatever. So, just excuse me if I just zzzzzzzzzzzzzz out on this one.

I skimmed through it...it was basically nothing I didn't know already. As for you saying that a guy knows the title of a woman after 6 months...we know the moment we meet a guy. Men are simple creatures and women only need common sense to figure them out. A book won't help.

If women know the moment they meet us , explain why you guys always end up on the short end of the stick. This would indicate women are more simple than men as you are always crying to your girlfriends he is a beast
