Steve Harvey has given the blue print, why won`t women listen?
Steve Harvey wrote his book to help women make better decisions about relationships, I think it was a sincere attempt to better inform women how we think.. Steve did not make up how think and how we operate. My issue is I talk to women about some of the things Steve has said and they still don`t get it, they think just because they think a certain situation should be as they feel it should be, Steve is in error. I have to say; Steve gave a pretty good description of how we think although you might find slight variations. We pretty much stay to the line he laid out. For instance men pretty know what title they want to give you after 6 months thats abolutely true.. Men fish for women some are throw backs and some are keepers, the keepers are usually the ones it was harder to land..Just a lil bit to start the conversation, Fellas help me out.

this is what steve harvey gets from me. the only sincere attempt he had was to make money and funnies about the plight of women. oh yeah...all the women who flock to that shit and that silly ass show of his and can share my gift with him.

Sorry you feel that way, He is a comedian but there is truth even in the midst of comedy. I thought it was informative in helping women know how we think.. After all 75 percent of all black children are born out of wed-lock , If women just waited the 90 days before giving up the cookie they could better understand what kind of man they have on their hands. The amount of babies daddys not taking care of their kids is appalling.

Miss AJ, In the game of hockey there is a goalie and the goalies job is to stop the other side from slapping their puck in the net. Now who better to protect your net than you.. If you know we want to score shouldn`t you do everything possible to protect yourself... Unfortunately there is a terrible cycle of women raising kids on thier own.. The evidence shows these guys ain`t gonna protect you.. It`s wrong but it`s reality, the chief reason for this there are not enough men educating each other about how to be responisible. for them selves let alone a women.. In fact many young black teen boys are encouraged by their fathers to get all you can ... Ladies shut down the cookie factory, Make us learn to be a master baker before you let us turn on the oven.

Seriously though AJ. If this was the only problem that needed correcting we would have long since been able to rectify this situatuion. It is a deep layer I'l agree but no one gender side is squeaky clean here.
If a condom is not made a requiremnt before sex by the wowan as well then there will be the existing problem as well. Unless, it is forced sex (and we know that as rape) that occurs
It's what we have to start teaching, and enforcing, and dealing with s parents when we get those the ugly, and hurtful looks our children give us when we have to deny them what thy want all the time. I'd rather they have that look then the perplexed look we have as to how to deal with this ongoing epidemic.
Piece by piece we are gonna have to remove each layer of the problem slowly. But the process itself on getting started has to be hurried up.

Some of the comments below trouble me as a lady.Why is Steve being criticized for being himself? I have read his book and then watched so many situations...and he is on point. I respect that everyone does not like Steve or his show but I think he is real and I think he is truly trying to help with his book and not just make money. If you take a look at all he does, the man is not hurting for money. The book is just wrote from his experiences and truly in life, that is what we have. There would not have been a need to write a book had we as ladies, just set some standards and quit falling for the okie doke. Nevertheless, even in a difference of opinion I respect all of your thoughts below...just not in agreement with the ones that criticize the man for trying to help.

and there is still not a need to write a book or make up fake letters for his show. the only folk falling for the okie doke are the ones buying his book and listening to his show. the shit men do to get tail has been done since the first time the sun rose. women know the score. writing yet another book that says the same thing we already know and yet choose to ignore is nothing more than, yes......a profit seeking venture. nothing more.

Naw it`s nothing new, but it`s real 1st of all I apolgize if I seem to have blamed women not trying to blame you guys for our irresponsibilty..But I have 3 sisters and 6 sisters in laws I grew up around women and I see their frustrations and their pains. Just trying to help out, I don`t want to see another woman cry because she can`t feed her child, because she can`t buy diapers .. Pookie got new rims but baby has no clothes.. I have 2 daughters 22-23 , I have been educating them since they came into the world. The oldest just had her 1st boyfriend lst year at college . She told me a story about a fella who wanted to buy her meal at the carnival, she told him naw she could buy her own meal. I said to her why did you do that you know your butt is broke.. her reply was Dad you told me don`t let boys buy you nothing they expect something back..I was like Oh yeah I did say that.. Shortly after she started going with him told him up front. No ring, no cookie.. About a month later homey says alright we been together bout a month I have earned the cookie.. She said no you haven`t 3 days later he broke up with her. Much to his surprise she said no problem, he was confused, I know why he was confused because I used the same foolishness myself as a teenager. You usually have a 85 -90 percent success rate with that line, especially if the female has low self esteem.. Matter of fact I wrote both my daughters a book of every thing we say to get in the drwawers
