I think I am gonna go. I hear that Monique did her thing in it and there is an Oscar buzz surrounding her performance in the movie...

Having seen the preview in the movie theater I think I'll definitely have to see it. Monique looks like she gives a powerful performance.

I know Hannah, I was thinking the same thing. Not sure if I can sit through some of the scene's I heard will be in the movie.

I definitely want to see this movie. Mo'Nique and Mariah Carey both are showing a different side to them in this film. Paula Patton is finally being showcased as an awesome actress. Love her!

BUT I'm tired of seeing Oprah and Tyler Perry in the previews though. Just because they have given their money to make the film happen doesn't mean that I'm going to jump to see it. They both need to sit down somewhere. Ok, I'm done.

I'm planning on seeing it, looks good. However, from the description of the book, that sounds far more intense than the movie. Not sure if I could handle the overly graphic nature of the book.
