My sons were doing "The Million Dollar" project in school and I found it interesting. Considering my oh so confident self - knowing I will be Financially Prosperous - I pondered the question. Now, this project was so exciting to me that we all did it and to my surprise, it got a little interesting trying to spend it down to the dollar. We used books and magazines, as well as the internet. We cut out pictures of the houses we would buy, cars, clothes, property, etc. It was fun...and not exactly an easy task. We used the internet to get an estimated idea of what the price would be for certain things we would buy, etc. If you or your child hasn't done this at home or in school...Please try it and tell me what you think. I feel it was an excellent project for my sons, who are in Junior High, to participate in, as it teaches them Money Management (which is important), Math (calculating expenses), and it stimulated thier minds overall. They thought about the type of business(es) they would start and what equipment/supplies would be needed, etc. Have you ever thought about how you would put all that money to use?
