how you on section 8 with a new 2009 car
Ok i had to help an old girlfriend of mines move.(i had my reason for this) But back to the story she has a brand new Nissan maxima. And i was wondering how can she afford rent & car payment when i know she works at a job that does not pay much. But i later find out she only pays $24.33 a month

Not everyone in the PJs with the fancy wheels is doing street pharmaceuticals. Some are actually working legit jobs, making decent money but can't help that need to get over so they stay in the PJs

My family were working class individuals period. They never thought once of taking from other people who truly need these government programs. That means women, children and the disabled. Now, generally these programs are based on the income one receives. If you get off paying $15 monthly in rent, it opens up the windows, for those to start purchasing other items such as vehicles, that cost more than your monthly rent. It happens every day. I know a person, who stays with his sister in her Section-8 house, and purchased two brand new vehicles, one Chrysler 300, and the other a Corvette, out of a settlement. With the money he received, a home could have been purchased. It is all about priorities.

Of the many things that can make a person feel prosperous, an automobile and clothes are the easiest things to purchase. Media and especially music portray such items as symbols of wealth and market them so. Anyone who has rent as low as she does and yet not be caught up on payments but wears jeans that cost several hundreds of dollars has their priorities misaligned.

Most consider FHA loans as a reformed Section 8 program...FHA is government loans given to women/men that can't get financed through a prime bank nor a secondary lending company.
Wouldn't that be like some of them sub-prime loans they were giving out to folks before the real estate market hit the bricks?

The lady could afford this because she has good credit but dont' make enough to pay for rent; you have some folks who can afford a good car, but not a place. Or can afford to have a nice place but a raggedy car(which to me, I'd get cause a house appreciates and a car depreciates) then again some folks don't have their priorities straight for nothing in this world and no amount of anything but their own enlightment will change that.

I had a cousin that her rent was less than $20 a month, she kept her hair fly as hell every week, latest shoes, all 4 of her kids had em' and the silly bitch had the nerve to get her utilities cut off!! It reach to almost $1,500. And it took her forever to get it back on, usually when folks get a break somewhere finicailly they hardly ever use it for a "come-up"
