Ok i had to help an old girlfriend of mines move.(i had my reason for this) But back to the story she has a brand new Nissan maxima. And i was wondering how can she afford rent & car payment when i know she works at a job that does not pay much. But i later find out she only pays $24.33 a month
truth don't know shit bout section 8 jc. ain't never qualified for it. but i do know a rapper once said, " how you buy an $80,000 car before you buy a house?" that's what popped in my head when i thought about a woman on some section 8 with a brand new car and a car note. really? where the hell are the priorities? and another rapper said, "prioritizing horribly cuz you pisspoor morally." i'm just sayin........

When I lived in DC my neighbor downstairs was on section 8, she had a 4 bedroom, 2 bath appt. She had 5 kids and lived with their father and their rent was $12 a month. Practically every month she had a late notice on her door.....
LOL Tone you always keep a sista laughing or shaking their damn heads. What does your mother/father think about the women you date? Like DDD said get in where you fit in and save up some money!!! She couldn't been all that bad if you once dated her but at least she has good credit...lol
@JC
Most consider FHA loans as a reformed Section 8 program...FHA is government loans given to women/men that can't get financed through a prime bank nor a secondary lending company.
Must me nice,, humpf,, a lot of folk are getting over on the system that way.. But can we really be upset about it, the system Phucks folk over all the time so get it while the gettings good.? (I guess). Shid I've known folk that has only had to pay $2 for rent per month.. Man i'd be a hood rich chic for real if that were ever my case hahahahahaha
FHA loans adjust to your income, so if you lose your job the mortgage payments go down!!! A lot of people have FHA loans but for some reasons ashamed to admit it...I am like whatever! The bank I worked @ loved individuals with FHA loans they get all types of grants/downpayment assistance.
